By the way, LA Tech plays a lot of ranked teams like Troy State does so it just shows they don't fear anybody. If you don't like Coach Dooley, please go find yourself another Team. We don't need fair weather fans like you.

STOP with the constant stupid already !

Kiffin & company were NOT good recruiters for the program !!!

The ONLY thing those morons recruited were high star ranked QB's, RB's and WR's just to make THEM look good.

That ignorance does NOT build a solid football program !

Every single person that says Kiffin & company were good recruiters simply does NOT understand college football and recruiting !

To be a good recruiter you MUST always fill the open NEEDS at ALL the positions where you lose players....ALL the positions and NOT just go for high star rankings at QB, RB and WR !

If Kiffin & company were great recruiters we would NOT be short of depth at OG, OT, TE and C positions !

We would NOT be short of depth at DT and DE and LB and S and CB positions !

Great college football recruiters fill ALL of the NEEDS at every position of NEED every single season to replace the positions of players that just left and try to lure in the highest ranked players they can get at ALL the positions of NEED so that depth at every position is never a serious issue like we have right now.

Football just happens to be a TEAM sport and you can have the best QB, RB's and WR's in the country on your team and they will NOT win 1 game with a C, OG, OT and TE's that can't block anyone !

Kiffin & company flatout sucked as football TEAM recruiters and DID do more damage to our Vols TEAM by NOT filling the NEEDS and then they ran off some good football players that that we would be better off today having still on our team.

People that say they were good recruiters obviously just don't know how you MUST fill the NEEDS at every position in order to have a decent TEAM on the field most every year.

I hate Nick Satan but he DOES go out and fill EVERY NEED on his football TEAM every single year in order to keep a solid ROTATION at EVERY position every single year and filling those NEEDSy position consistently every year is how you build a solid, winning college football program.

DD & Company are 3 to 4 years BEHIND on filling the NEEDS at every position so they're being forced to field as good a team as they can for the next few years while they get the rotation back in balance like it must be.

GO BIG ORANGE !!!

If I don't like Obama, does that mean I have to find a new country too?

Your joking right? Its not Kiffins fault we are thin at those positions its the fault of the staff before that or have you already forgotten that we had to start a Freshmen converted TE and two Walk-On's on the Offensive line last season. We were short at DE & DT as well last season.

Here we go again.

5-15 with the NFL's most dysfunctional franchise >>>>>>>> 17-20 in the second weakest conference in college football

It makes me sad that we're in a situation where someone can actually make this rotten apples vs. rotten oranges comparison.

That said, it would be really cool to see Dooley succeed here, and I don't see why he shouldn't as long as we give him the time, resources and support he needs.

the ignorance of this post cannot get any greater.

If Kiffin & company were great recruiters we would NOT be short of depth at OG, OT, TE and C positions !

they were only here for one year. and we can thank our last staff for those problems.

Football just happens to be a TEAM sport and you can have the best QB, RB's and WR's in the country on your team and they will NOT win 1 game with a C, OG, OT and TE's that can't block anyone !

we dont have any of those right now, and it has very little to do with Kiffin.

Kiffin & company flatout sucked as football TEAM recruiters and DID do more damage to our Vols TEAM by NOT filling the NEEDS and then they ran off some good football players that that we would be better off today having still on our team.

they didnt run off anyone that mattered much. just depth.

People that say they were good recruiters obviously just don't know how you MUST fill the NEEDS at every position in order to have a decent TEAM on the field most every year.

you fill those needs with talent, not just bodies.

I hate Nick Satan but he DOES go out and fill EVERY NEED on his football TEAM every single year in order to keep a solid ROTATION at EVERY position every single year and filling those NEEDSy position consistently every year is how you build a solid, winning college football program.

Saban fills those needs with 4 and 5 star caliber talent, so he must only being doing it to look good....

DD & Company are 3 to 4 years BEHIND on filling the NEEDS at every position so they're being forced to field as good a team as they can for the next few years while they get the rotation back in balance like it must be.

it doesnt matter who the coach is, they have an uphill battle due to Fulmer staff. fortunatley, Dooley is not a bad recruiter. again, this has very little to do with Kiffin.

more stupid hate towards a coach thats no longer ours. get over it.

Ok...so - I read the entirety of this mailbag and there was some funny stuff about UF putting up a Tebow Statue; here it is:

"How about a statue for the two most important people in the program -- the Unnamed Bail Bondsman and Huntley Johnson, the legendary local attorney who traditionally gets all of UF's football players out of trouble when they get arrested? The latest player to get arrested and suspended from all team activities is up-and-coming wide receiver Frankie Hammond, who was arrested for DUI last weekend when police said he was speeding, swerving and driving with two open bottles of Crown Royal whiskey in his car.

I know many college students drink and drive, but isn't there a deeper problem when a guy is driving around with two open bottles of blended Canadian whiskey? If this is the type of binge drinking that UF football players do, it's no wonder that former defensive end Carlos Dunlap became one of the biggest goats in UF athletic history when he fell asleep at a red light, was arrested for DUI and missed the SEC championship game last December. It's hard to keep track of all the arrests, but this is believed to be the the 28th football player to be charged with a crime since Florida coach Urban Meyer took over as coach in 2005. I know players from other programs also get arrested, but not at this rate.

I've heard UF fans and officials constantly laud Meyer for being such a stellar disciplinarian, but there is certainly no proof to back up their claims. On average, nearly six of his players are getting arrested every season. That's disgraceful. You know it's bad when even the student newspaper, the Independent Florida Alligator, is embarrassed about UF's disturbing arrest rate. Instead of calling newspaper reporters "bad guys" isn't it about time for Urban Meyer to start worrying about the frightening number of really bad guys he is recruiting to the campus of what is supposed to be a reputed institution of higher learning?"

Go Vols!
