Tennessee's Two Victories...

We should take all of those pricey scoreboards in Neyland down. Final scores are irrelevant.

I didnt say the final scores didnt mean anything........just the stats........how many times have we lead in total yards at the end of a game and still got beat??

Everything contained in the post you followed by saying stats mean nothing had to do with wins and losses. You know? The things measured by final scores.

Not really. I have no problem when people point out my mistakes. They happen so infrequently that it doesn't bother me. You, on the other hand, are a perfect example of the sunshine pumping clods that have invaded this fine forum this season in an attempt to prop up the pathetic, outdated administration that has turned Tennessee into the Texas Tech of the SEC. As I told one of your dopplegangers earlier today, it is the fervent hope of all of us that actually expect excellence from UT football that you all follow Prince Phillip of Peach Bowls back to Winchester at the end of the season. Have a nice day, or go sit in the garage with the car running. Either one will be fine.

Hey, hey, my mom's from Winchester. We used to drive there down there from Knoxville every couple of months to go see the grandma, paddle around in the canoe, take the bypass over to go shopping at Fred's.....okay, yeah, it sucks. A lot.

He's not denegrating Winchester, that's just where CPF is from... Of course you already knew that so nevermind..

That is shocking to me after the debacle at UCF. Just goes to further downgrade the Vols win over ASU...

...as if there's any need whatsoever to have to degrade a win over Arkansas State. The level of denial exhibited by many Vols fans is astonishing.

ASU has to come back and win the game against Memphis in the fourth quarter 35-31. Draw what conclusions you want from that game.

Memphis basically scored 10 points.

They got 14 more by running two versions of Annexation of Puerto Rico (laterals followed by downfield bombs) and 7 more on a fumble return for a TD when the official closest to the play ran in blowing it dead but they mysteriously allowed the play to continue and ignored the whistle.

Yeah the side judge blew the play dead but the DL picked it up and kept running and they gave him the TD anyway. ASU was just cocky expecting to pummel Memphis and it took us a half to figure out it wasnt going to work that way. ASU-Memphis is ALWAYS a war..throw out the records. They are our biggest rival and we are their 2nd probably behind Ole Miss.

Post of the year!

In the history of Hat's posts here at the Nation, this collection of sentences more perfectly defines him than any that have come before.
I am awed.

Got to give Ron credit. He rarely steps in the ring anymore and he's got one of the most crowd pleasing gimmicks going.

So many ways for people to make threads and state "Our team sucks", without actually saying it. BTW, we won those games and just because other teams are owning the teams we beat as well doesn't amount to anything important other than a win for them. I'm sure that people were saying Penn St. was going to blow out Michigan as well. I know our team isn't that good right now, but we are "working like heck" to get better.

The line on the PSU/Mich. game was only 3 or 4 points. Thats not a blow out
