No matter what happens, haters will try to discredit any championship. People have tried to diminish ours because they think we should have lost to Arky, should have faced Weinke in the title game, should have faced tOSU in the title game, etc...

When your back is against the wall and your scared you will do whatever to stop what is coming! Everybody sees the Vols coming so of course they are going to say whatever! In the age of the net and message boards what does everyone think is going to happen?!

Not true at all. If this ends with a whimper, you'll hear some snide remakrs about it next year, but then it will go away and you aren't really looking to do much next year, anyway.

If it does lead to something significant, well, you have ot wait to see what it is. If its some additional minor things and maybe you lose a scholarship or two, that sucks but you'll live.

Even if its worst case and there's a bunch more, you get some time off without bowls, tv, or c-ships. That hurts because of recruiting. but you bring in a sacrificial lamb to wait it out and at the end of that you get yourselves someone more traditional and its over.

Most likely scenario is that this fades away into some bad jokes for next year. Worst case its some sort of tip of the iceberg thing and then you have to reassess.

you know....I was thinking....it's refreshing to be so hated again.....people didnt hate us the last few years like in the past.....kind of cool that it's been revived again....

But again, I dont care what people think.

It was funny, I had a good friend, who is a Bama fan....who was babbling on and on ....it was obvious his info was from the NYT article.....

So I shut him up when I said.....did you know that coaches who vote in the coaches poll arent suppose to vote for a team that is on probation for major violations which would mean that Bama would be about #8 in the BCS if the coaches did as they were suppose to?.... I said, text books come to mind?

That only applies to teams that have been sanctioned (banned) from postseason play in conjunction with the probation. Does not apply to Bama.

Right, because it is much more fun being the “Loveable Losers”.

As long as we are winning we are going to have a target on our backs and rivals will take their shots. Are you going to let that affect you or are you going to relish their envy?
