Tennessee's defense is Really Bad

Whose fault is it that there is no defensive dept?

Shurley not lyle and the best coaching staff in America.

I really don't think you and all these other babies peeing your diapers and wailing about it have the intelluctual capability to go back and look at what Butch took over, and year by year look at the recruiting, who panned out, who stayed, who left, the injuries and make reasonable assessments about depth.

Last year our losses in the 4th quarter were due to lack of depth. That is why we looked good earlier in the games and started giving up more points in the second half. This year it is more than lack of depth.

From where I sit you see a lot of things that make me scratch my head. Like slanting the d-line to their weak side and then being outnumbered on the edge. We also must be the easiest defense to figure out because I swear every time we blitz they run right through the gap that was just vacated by the blitzer - e.g., the TD run from the 2 when Jumper blitzed.

Injuries have played a part, but if you have some intellectual capacity as you point out, you can see the problems are greater than just injuries.
