With recruiting taking a massive slide for 2016. Butch's only chance at a national title at tennessee is in 2016. 2017 will be a 8-9 win season. and we will settle for those every year after that. legacy players made the last two recruiting classes all world.

Have they already announced everyone who is signing in 2016? I must have missed that. Could you provide a list?

Better yet, take that list, crumple it up, and use it to wipe away all the tears you're crying over what is pure speculation at this point.

Good grief. Shake your magic 8 ball again and the results will be different. This post is probably the dumbest of the year so far. Dont worry though, its early. I do like your chances of holding on to the top spot for a while though.

Lol our defense will be top ten in the country, entire OL returns, PW, Malone, Smith, Calloway, Higgins is an arsenal at WR, whoever rises to the occasion at QB is a lucky sumbich. Out of the 3 guys that replace Dobbs, chances are one will actually be an upgrade in the passing game for sure and if it's Jones or JG to add the QB option the run game will be adequate with the veteran OL. Plus we closing strong this class man. It's all good. Oh yea and next year we lose some studs and they will get awards and be littering the draft and Butch will parlay that into early PT again and player development sales pitch to that loaded '17 class. It's our next chance next year, not last.

It's definitely the best chance we can see right now. There's no more "wait 'til next year," which is refreshing. But if we win 10-11 games like we should, it won't be our only chance.

I get it. Its boring all the cold, snow, ice, and so on. No college football. So you got to try to stir stuff up. Good job. :good!:

I'd say that if we don't at least win the East, Butch never will. The national title is tricky. If we go 12-1 and then lose in the playoff, no one is going to think we just wasted our last chance to win a title.
