There is much more to Tennessee than their recruiting efforts. It is in fact a University that I care about for far more than athletics. It's good press and good exposure for the University of Tennessee. It's no press for the football team, and isn't supposed to be.

I know...I got your sarcasm. There are plenty out there (mostly fans who are not alums) who think that if it doesn't directly impact the product on the field, it doesn't mean anything. Not that being on hour 4 of the Today show is like getting a visit from the President, but it's still good PR.

Out of 6 schools in the final, UT got the most votes for Kathy Lee and Hoda to host their show there! So on Oct. 1 they will be set up on The Hill to broadcast from. Hope you locals can turn out for that...think of all those viewers that will see Tn. spirit and it will give us some good coverage.
Wish they could arrive with the Vol navy! That would be impressive!
