Tennessee was humiliated

I also rented the game on Direct Tv and am glad that I did. ESPN 3 is good, but being so far away from home these days makes even the poor commentary worth it. It was annoying though realizing who is who from my recliner in Massachusetts than the Vol Network guys inside Neyland.

Gotta agree the announcers were just awful. And was it too much to ask that they show the game time? If you'd taken a shot every time they confused players (not counting the mispronunciations) you'd have been hospitalized by the half.

I'm sitting here watching the replay, and I have to say that the picture quality is actually much better than some of the PPV games I have seen.

I watched it on the west coast on espn3, and it was free, but it did say something about being blacked out in some areas.

Glad I did not purchase it, but came close. Hopefully the rest will be televised by real networks.

$35 was well worth it compared to not watching the game at all, if it was really unbearable just mute and turn on the radio :eek:k:

this is just wrong, :eek:k: its like this every ppv i get. to much money being made to have such poor video and audio with HD everywhere now. time to quit being so cheap on their broadcasting.

$25 like hell!

ESPN3 is your friend.

HDMI output on my laptop + $10 cord hooked into the AUX = football bliss.

Laughed when they called jacques "Chavez Smith" 3 times. We need to start a petition to get someone better to call the games. Seemed like they had too much to drink during the weather delay.

One of Montana's players defending the pass and slid into the wall very scary thought he may had neck damage his head when right into the wall, Randy Smith says,"He may have tweaked his ankle."

To clarify a few things ESPN3 is only available to you if you have a participating internet provider. Also if you live inside TN you have to buy pay per view which is what, $35. If you live outside TN you can get through Directv ESPN Gameplan which is $25 per week or $118 for year. So that accounts for price difference and also why some with right internet provider can get through ESPN3.

Just turned it to the replay on SportSouth and was surprised to find nice HD broadcast. It would've been nice to have that picture last night.

When I saw the cameramen switch their lenses from 2X to wide angle during a live take, I coudn't believe it. Local news guys know better than that, and a first-time director would never switch to that shot! Here's what's worse--they should all be using 30X lenses that don't require switching. What are they doing with the $34.95 we all paid to watch the game?

His name is Bobby Denton and youre probably right about how he refreshes himself during the game breaks. That old fossil has been doing the pa for as long as I can remember (started attending UT games in 1968).

Time to retire, Bobby. Give him a good buyout/retirement. UT seems to do that rather generously.

EDIT: OOPS! I just realized you may be referring to the guys on PPV and not the PA guy, Bobby Denton.
