it's hard to imaging reproducing that performance in the 2nd, but we are truly playing like a team possessed! It would be sweet if it never got close so we wouldn't have to feel the pressure of a close game on the brink of the elite 8.

Yeah. Their mini run there toward the end of the first half had me worried, but our Vols responded well.

Bruce is great at second half adjustments. I don't think they'll give up a 17 point lead.

Long Beach State even cut into a big lead by the Vols, albeit in the first half, but still. Vols usually hang on to it, hopefully that'll continue.

CBS Sportline still has them at 13-28 for 46%, but either way, they shot it pretty well in the first half. It's not like they dug a hole because they shot 30%.

As hot as we were, we only shot 55% (9/15 from 3 though):dance2:

I really don't know what to expect from OSU this half. They look done. If they were a veteran club I woud expect a furious comeback, but they're as young as we are.

They'll make a run, just not sure how effective it'll be.

The best thing that ever happened to this team was when Lofton was hurt. Before that it was a 1 man show with JuJuan sometimes scoring. Now, we're balanced and anyone we have is capable of putting up big numbers.
