For a possible Gameday telecast. I heard this on 104.5 The Zone on my way home today.

Only other legit possibility is UCLA at Texas. UGA-SCAR would've been the game, but obviously not anymore.

The only way that happens is if USC losses to ECU tomorrow and starts 0-2. Otherwise, they're going to be at the UGA v USC game on Sept 13th.

You're probably right. They said that they were in the top three not necessarily the top pick. I'm not sure I want them there. I don't want the OU fans any more jacked up.

Not so sure, remember ESPN/ABC is broadcasting Tenn/OU. ESPN loves to use Gameday to pimp games that they broadcast. Remember in 2005 Tennessee/Florida getting passed up for FSU/BColl?

Might be something to it. I think we need another performance like Sunday to sway the votes to us, otherwise it will be 1n1 sc vs 2n0 ga. Everyone would want a smell what the Butch is cooking if we smash asu! Go VOLS!

IF gameday were at the UT v OK game and UT actually won, that would mean they'd also be at the UT v UGA game, as we would be 3-0 with a win over a top 5 team.

I don't think any of this is going to happen. They won't be at the Okla game. However, IF we win at Okla, they WILL be at the UGA game.

Whispers and such. ESPN might have already talked to Oklahoma about it...

Problem is, Game Day doesn't tell a school it's coming until six days out. They won't decide until after the games this weekend.

I am not sure I want Gameday there....it'd just be a Oklahoma love fest. I'd rather nobody nationally talk about the game until after it's over, and we possibly beat their tails.

The left side of my brain totally agrees BUT the right side woke up this am on a Smoky Mountain High. I'm not a morning person at all but I have played Rocky Top more than I care to admit and literally can not wait for the T to open later this am. I'm all in, as I have been for over 50 years but I feel something different at this moment in time and will simply take one game at a time. I will not come down from this Smoky Mountain high until the end of the year. Regardless of the W/L's at the end, I will know BJ and 118 gave there all and I will have likewise.

Could this be the year.......

Game day's producer said it had already picked the location and it was off the radar. He said it would be announced today during the show but people would have a hard time guessing where. He said USC UGA wasn't it.

You think for a second it might not be about Tennessee?

Oklahoma is being hyped up something huge. And in that hype happens to be the only SEC game on their schedule which also happens to be us. It wouldn't matter if they were playing us, Miss State, Bama 2.0 or Vandy, the fact ESPN wants that hype behind a Big 12 power playing an SEC school is central to the matter.

I think it's entirely possible. The producer said the first stop in SEC country would most likely be the first weekend in October for the bama and ole miss game if they were both still undefeated.

I'm not sure they would put us on it. When's the last time that game day even predicted our score? I bet it's been quite awhile. If they predict our game today or have some segment about the Vols, I think it's a good chance we are on. If not, just steers and....(you know the rest) in Oklahoma.
