Tennessee vs Okie State Game Thread

My dad looked at me like I was some kind of animal celebrating the winning basket then the final miss by boggan. He was like "why do you take it so seriously" lol.

Not like he didn't $#!* his pants after the Buckeyes wins, but oh well.

Careful now. You know that the Gators, if at full strength, will have a score to settle with you.

Oh, did I have a typo there, oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to disrespect the Champs like that.

Better just hope the tennis player's son doesn't turn up looking like this.... again!

If the tennis player's son, the head coach and the guy that wears all the eye make-up would quit kissing each other, they might all end up at full strength by February.

I think C.J. Watson still has a piece of Joann Noah's tooth in his elbow...

I went downstairs and my mom said "I take it you won?"

Man I love watching these Vols play!!! GO VOLS!

Great win for the Vols.

Really fun game to watch, of course, most wins are. :)

But a good game either way.

Woooohooooo! It is nice to win a game when we are not absolutely on from 3 point range.

don't have time to read all 245 posts...but i can probably tell the gist of most of 'em anyway...what a game.

i think both teams played very well.
Dane Bradshaw never ceases to amaze...
it was nice to see the rest of the team step up when Lofton was "off".
Duke Crews grew up a little bit i think.
childress leaves little to be desired.
free throws!!! free throws!!!
rebounding was better than i expected, esp. offensively.
just a really exciting game to watch...glad it was on National TV
Glad to see Lofton could be an impact player, with out scoring 30+.

good game, go vols!

Isn't that great? The Vols have beat Memphis and Okie State on National Television. They're getting some exposure and taking advantage of it.

yep...and i absoultely loved Dane's post game comments...."this is just a great place to come and play basketball".

and Pearl's werent' bad either...they asked him about a good 'resume' win for TN, and he said, "it's also a good win for our league".

love it.

that was really big...if they can beat TX, it won't make losing to OSU look to shabby...3-1 against WKU, Ok St, TX and OSU won't look bad at all, considering they've also beaten Memphis to boot.

losses to UNC, OSU and Butler (all three are tourney teams) won't kill them come March.

then comes conf. play...whew...LSU, Bama, Georgia, Florida......lots of big games still to come....

can't believe bball has gotten to this point so soon in only year 2 of the BP era. way to go coach! at least we all have reason to watch now.:clapping:

I know one thing's for sure. Considering the teams the Vols have already played, teams like UF, LSU and Bama aren't going to seem all that bad.

That's the great thing about playing teams like UNC, Memphis, Ok St. and Ohio State. The experience alone is well worth it.
