We'll be in Buffalo or Lexington in the first two rounds.. SI thinks we'll represent the west region as the 5 seed.

Joakim Noah said it doesn't matter what seed Florida gets in the tourney. He sounded like he had just came back from a drive-by shooting-which, in a way, he did...
I hope Florida gets beat - and beat early.

i do too....but i doubt they will get beat early, especially with a top seed and playing close to home....and they look like they're playing their best basketball....i would think an elite eight apperence is the least they will do

I agree. Personally, I think they will win it all again. But NO WAY will I be rooting for them - SEC team or not.

I'll root for them.. They play the game with passion, desire, and confidence. Their so unselfish, and they really define chemistry in their play at times.. And they have the swagger and the drive to take home another National Title in three weeks. I've got UF or Georgetown taking home the trophy this year..

I agree with that. Joke Kim is the poster boy for reputation self destruction..

That and he can't score any more, and every shot he makes he goes nuts. They are too few and he needs to reign it in until crunch time.

For what it's worth, Airtran offers inexpensive airfare from Atlanta to Buffalo ... so you K-town folks can drive down here, do the park-and-ride thing, and catch a plane to Buffalo. Provided that is the city of the pod we get.

Well hell - I might as well pencil in GTown and Florida in my finals for my work pool!

Yup, but I wouldn't count out UCLA just yet.. Ben Howland will have them back to form starting next week..

Good, I'm glad you caught I was just ribbing you. I like UCLA and North Carolina in the final, but I need this dumb bracket to come out before I really get into it.

I've already got some wagers going at school and at work..:birgits_giggle: I was 100% in last year's elite eight, I can only hope for that kind of success rate this year. Good luck on filling out a valid bracket next week.

You were not 100% in your Elite 8.

Unless you filled out 47 brackets or something.

Yeah, I'm sure you had George Mason beating UNC, Michigan State, and Witchita State. Wow, I'm trembling. You just lost yourself a LOT of credibility right there, not that you had much before..
