No surprise Jay Bilas, on Gameday, just predicted a UT loss to MSU. I was proud that this thread was not created until the day of the game.....Unlike the UT vs. UAB Game Thread...........GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!....Cant wait till 7.

Umm...can we not start the thread off with something better than ..."we were predicted to lose?"

Anyway...Go Vols! This should be a great game.

Somebody every week will pick us to lose...Doesnt matter much we should handle our business and get out of there with the win.

Digger Phelps just said that MSU is the best team in the SEC :crazy::crazy:

bilas is actually one of their best basketball guys and he's calling it like he sees it. We haven't played well on the road in a while and he probably sees MSU and wanting to recover from Wed night.

I think we make them turn it over 20+ times and win in a much higher scoring game than MSU is comfortable in. If they can, like KY, keep the scoring closer to their average, I like MSU's chances.

These guys don't give UT any credit for the out of conference wins. Rather, they mention how bad the SEC is and what a joke the RPI.

Wins will prove them wrong, so Pearl just needs to keep the wins coming.

I swear - ESPN just makes sure to include a ND homer that is a commentator for every sports to keep their ratings up.

what I like about Bilas is that you can tell he's done his homework. Phelps on the other hand, no idea what he does between games.

He is probably the most informed analyst on their set. Doesn't seem like he gives a lot of props or respect to some of the non-elite schools though.

true, but both seem to dog on us. we just can't have that. when we blast the bulldogs, i hope he admits he was wrong.

I think Bilas will readily admit he was wrong. Phelps, on the other hand, will have forgotten his prediction and only faintly remember there was a game. Hell, he might not know he's in AZ today.

Today is the first day I've seen Digger really 'disrespect' us if that's what you want to call it. Bilas has done it quite a bit more.

And I'm not saying Bilas is wrong - it's easy to pick against us and say we're really not that good with our style of play... we can look insanely good or average at times.

many think MSU is stacked against the weakness in our middle. I just see it differently. They don't have any offensive strength in the middle to take advantage of our weakness.

I am sure that neither of them likes the way we've performed on the road in conference. We've won a couple, but the UK and AL games were less than impressive.
