Me and some friends are trying to go, any advice on scalping tickets and prices would be appreciated.

There will be a guy walking around wearing an Emmitt Smith Cowboys jersey. We call him "Emmitt" for obvious reasons. Hes a maintenance guy that works on campus and always comes to the games and sells tickets. I couldnt tell you about pricing but at least I can assure you that his tickets are legit and wont be any fakes. Hes a pretty good dude too although a little crazy. I dont have any tickets yet either but I also havent totally decided if Im even going into the game yet or not.

Sounds like most of the Memphis fans I know. :) Hence where I got my tickets lol

Seriously, I went last week to the Houston game and if the guys I was hanging out with had stayed at the tailgate, then I wouldnt have went in then. Its embarrassing to watch and Im not real fond of our coach. But Ill give him a chance to do something. Theres no way but up from here.

Just an off the wall question, but how is the traffic getting in and out of the liberty bowl. Trying to decide what time I should leave to drive down tomorrow.

Homefry might have some better insight to game day traffic, but my experience is that its not too bad.

But then again, the Tennessee crowd will probably triple their season attendance to date, so who knows? :)

I will be there. Leaving from Nashville in the morning. Will be looking for tickets outside the stadium. Expect to pay about $10.

I live in Memphis, Show up and there will be hundreds of tickets available on the street. Hollywood St. is on the east side of the stadium...All the tickets you want and any price you want.

They have bulldozed all the buildings, old baseball field, etc on the fairgrounds to make a Grove type setting called Tiger Lane. Plenty of parking and Memphis game day traffic is never that bad.

You can get them much cheaper from the scalpers outside the gate...don't spend $50.00! You can get 50 yard line seats on the ticket broker sites for $30 right now.

We will have a big crew there man. Stop by the tailgate if you want. We were going to be at Tobey Field but now I am thinking we might be able to get closer with all of the new parking available.

We will have the TV on (LSU/Bama) and plenty of food. If you might be interested, shoot me a PM and I can get you my number.
