Tennessee vs Kentucky point spread? [opened at Kentucky -3.5]

I hate to say it but I highly doubt we beat KY, or Mizzou. Mizzou routed FL, and we may not beat Vandy either. I just hate for the last decade I get so hyped for the season to start in hopes it will be different. And it never is different. Being a VOL fan all these years is hard.

You’re never as bad as your worst game. We won’t see the same team this week.

That's the $64,000 question, Freak...which UT team will we see? The one that can't score in the 1st quarter, the 6 turnover team, the can't run the ball team, the almost-beat-USCe team, or the team that went to Auburn?

Problem is, not counting Bama or UGA, we have 4 "worst games" to pick from, including this last one. And only Auburn to counter with.

Vols can win, but if they do it will be a UT team we have not seen all year to this point.

Go Vols.

Football is just crazy though. Tennessee beat Auburn, Auburn beat Texas A&m, Texas A&M beat Kentucky. That doesn't mean we are better than A&m or Kentucky, but it would be nice if we won 😁

If we play like yesterday they'll cover no matter the spread. Hopefully we'll be healthier and fired up. I like our chances in a defensive slugfest better than a shootout.

So Kentucky was what? #11 in the country yesterday, and only a 3.5 pt favorite over our lowly Vols.

Tempted to bet the farm on Kentucky.

That line seems way out of whack, but Vegas is smarter than me.

If you believe Ky was the 11th best team in the country then I have some oceanfront property in Kansas...

They have been very lucky to beat 3 teams on their schedule... one by suspensions, one by a qb not playing and one by the refs phantom pass interference call to give them an extra untimed down. Not to mention they have played two ranked teams this year. They have not been impressive to anyone outside of Lexington.

I'm honestly not buying Kentucky. Missouri absolutely should have beaten them, and UGA pretty much had their way with them. I think they are better than us, but not by all that much. It being at our house, I honestly believe we will be in it.

I'll admit 3 and a Hook surprised the heck outta me. HOPE Vegas Knows something. UK is one dimensional; but so are we. Damn we need this one!

Thanks for the lesson in SEC football.

Just spouting out their national ranking, regardless if anyone thinks they deserve it or not.

The only think I really care about, is that they are significantly better than us. Seemingly, much more and than a field goal better.

Sad to say I think KY has no problem whatsoever covering this spread . My guess this will up to at least 7 (maybe more ) by game time . I miss the days when KY and Vandy were considered automatic wins .

We are TN, therefore we will get...KY will play it's most complete game. Just our luck. Too bad our OL is horrid...otherwise we win by 2 TDs.

This is a game where the defense has to show up bigtime. Kentucky hasn't been doing much on offense 15 vs Missouri and 17 vs Georgia. Were not very good either. The team that swipes a couple turnovers and can kick their fieldgoals probably wins this one.
