D Rose needs to have another big game. His shoot is starting to come together. This kid just keeps getting better and better. Dorsey and CDR will need to have a big game also and stay in the game. Az plays man to man D which i think should give the avg. to Memphis but I wouldn't be surprized to see some zone. I didn't know untill i was reading up on AZ, there RPI is #1 wow. This should be a fun and up tempo game.

today, you're probably right. i think gonzaga is a team with suspect ball handling. look for UT to make hay in the turnover department, more than enough to offset the rebounding deficiencies. prolly a 3-1 or more advantage for us today in T.O., imo.

i would full on press for 40 minutes and run like hell. wear down Pargo and it's over. we have the depth, they don't

if Bruce is smart, that should be the plan. we also should be able to get them in foul trouble with them struggling to keep up with the pace.

After laying off of the press for the last couple of games, I'd say this is as good of an opportunity as any to go ahead and rachet up the press from the tip and make the Zags prove that they can handle it.

If they can, then we can always pull off, but getting extra shots against this team is probably the best defense we can ask for.

I know Bouldin hasn't played like he did last year, but do we have anyone to guard him out of our starters?

He's a 6-5 guard and if JaJuan is really going to guard Pargo, then that leaves Lofton or Ramar/Jordan (whoever starts) to D up on a guy with 4 more inches.

He still gives up a significant amount of size and the way Bouldin plays, that'll hurt us. From what I've seen, he won't drive to the basket too much, but he loves to spot up and Ramar doesn't have the length, and JP doesn't have the strength.

I really hope Ramar learns how to play under control. He's so fast, so strong, and if he'd control himself while keeping his frenetic pace, he'd be magical.

magical would be his current ability with just a mediocre jumper. as it is, I'd sing his praises daily if he would just focus on the defensive end and use his athletic skills to clamp down the opposing PG. He clearly has the ability to do so, just not sure about the heart.

he sure played with some heart when Pearl put his boot in Ramar's you know where.

everybody has heart at the end of a game. D and rebounding are generally blue collar, workmanlike chores so very few blue chipper types focus on it.
