Tennessee vs. Florida

Since '98 we've been a non factor, we've had teams where players have over excelled and we had some games where Tennessee hurt Florida a little, but outcoached at the final whistle. We had a coach with just enough skill with players who had just enough talent, with just enough breaks to go undefeated in '98 to win the whole enchillada. We had a coach (not fact just my opinion) who was satisfied with 1 trip to the top of the mountain...after that he didn't put recruiting, game integrity, position execution, or coaching execution high on any list. And we have paid a heavy price for it, and are still paying for it...that and a 6 million dollar payoff. Part of the reason Urban Meyer enjoys the coach status he does is Tennessee miss-managing their program. Hopefully we are on the re-bound...the re-build is in progress. Hopefully we will soon see a day when Gator fans can't best the Vols on the field, and come into message board pissing on our leg telling us it's raining.

That's great and i'll take your advice, but there hasn't been much to be critical about UF in awhile now has it? Except maybe the SEC championship game last year. On the other hand you offer us your opinions on Tennessee and you're right, i don't give a crap what you think about Tennessee or their fans.

There was plenty to be critical of....our offense looked like garbage last season, Tebow regressed and we got taken to the woodshed by the same Bama team UT should have beaten.

And I said as much here throughout the season on several occasions.

I stay until the end of the game because I know how much I paid for the tickets and to get to the game

I think dan has a point though. Even we don't take UGA all that seriously so it's not like Meyer has a lot of competition in the east right now. It vaguely reminds me of Fulmer making his career on a very down Alabama, but in reality it isn't really the same.

Meyer can only play who's on the schedule.

Ditto for Fulmer when Bama was down.

Ditto for Spurrier when LSU and UGA were way down for most of the 90s.

Exactly.

It has nothing to do with "fandom". I make sure I get every penny's worth out of my tickets.
