Not to be cocky or flame or anything, but Vol fans should prepare for Florida's offense to be the best of the Meyer era, unless there are injuries to Brantley or multiple starting O-linemen. If there's any weakness for Florida this year, it's a D-line with a lot of youth and a few guys with a history of injury issues. Even with that stuff, the LBs and DBs are top notch, so scoring on UF is not going to be easy for anyone, much less a team with no O-line and no idea what to expect from their QB.
Sorry, but the only team that should compete with Florida this year is Bama, and I think UF will be able to outscore Bama with relative ease. The matchup for Florida with Bama is better, believe it or not, with this year's team rather than with Tebow running a more "controlled" type offense. UF will score big this year, and Bama's not the kind of team built for a shootout against a team with comparable talent.

The loss of the automatic tebow 1st down is legit.
The trade off is that florida might actually run a different play on 3rd and 2 and opposing defenses might actually not know what's coming.

Well, what I am hoping for is a non-gamer. Sometimes these highly rated kids just don't get it done when the pressure is on. The game in Neyland will def be the most pressure in his life so far- and I sure hope he cracks.
Here are some examples. USC last year. Ken Dorsey's replacement at UM (brock berlin?). Lsu after Russell.
I just hope that our teams doesn't experience this (I feel like we've paid our dues)

Is the Debose (i think that's his name) kid healthy?
i hate to break it to you......but, how is tennessee the "big stage" right now?
and
do we really have to pretend going to neyland stadium and winning is a problem?
UGA is a big stage, Bama is a big stage, LSU is a big stage because they are all top tier SEC programs. I already explained why its going to effect Brantley. He has yet to take a meaningful snap where his decisions arent made against a motivationless defense or effect the grand outcome of the game. Youre an idiot if you honestly believe playing in Neyland isnt a big stage.
Im not saying he is going to suck. I am, however, leaving the door open to it. Crompton had it all in practice and when he saw the field it went sour. He did fine in meaningless snaps. We'll see what happens. Thats why i said its a toss up in the SECE.
There's no way a rational florida fan can argue their offense will be "better" in 2010 without Tebow than in 2009 with Tebow. Tebow created more matchup issues than any player in 50 years. He wasn't a great passer but his running ability was the key to the success of the spread option.

LSU after Russel won a national title.
