Tennessee vs Florida game thread

So what would everyone rather happen? Win this game and lose to Kentucky or lose this game and win against Kentucky keeping the streak going?

I think we've had one, maybe two decent passing teams in the last 10 years. Seriously. We either have WR incompetence, QB incompetence, OC incompetence, or some combination of each every game. We've lost a ton of games in recent years because of offensive crapitude.

Why is Simms this uncomfortable? Are we still telling him not to throw over the middle? We're gonna have to take some chances to win some games. Of course it puts him out to throw INT's but if we don't get our passing game going we're going to lose.

I think we found out why he has been told not to throw in the middle!!

It's pretty much the same game plan as last week and UT-Martin for that matter. Vary our defensive scheme and hide our blitzes and run the ball a lot. Only pass when we need to or when/if there are mismatches in our favor.

Unfortunately Simms didn't make the right choice in the Red Zone completely against what he was explicitly instructed to do.

No, we've shown the intent to pass this week. It may be just enough.

As for D - yes. We keep everything in front of us until we have to take risks. I think that will be Plan W all season with this team. We have to shorten games / not give up TDs, as we saw last week.

Right now, WE ARE IN THIS.

As hard as it is to believe for a UT football fan, Bray is worse than Simms. If we wanna win, we need to stick with Simms, now and for the rest of the year.

This. I am crushed over that INT, and he hasn't shown that flare of aggression that we need from him, eventually... but don't neglect how outstanding the Gator secondary is, either.
