Tennessee vs Florida game thread

Simms is god-awful. If it wasn't for him, we'd be leading 10-7, and feeling a lot better. D is about to break.

I like how he aim for a reserve running down the sidelines and it will end up going to the 1st row ...15 yards wide left and long. Seriously?

wilcox will make a halftime adjustment and bring pressure up the middle w/ janzen moving up.......will leave us vulnerable up the middle deep, but brantley will not be able to adjust on the fly.....watch

Why is Simms this uncomfortable? Are we still telling him not to throw over the middle? We're gonna have to take some chances to win some games. Of course it puts him out to throw INT's but if we don't get our passing game going we're going to lose.

If Florida comes out and scores on the opening drive it's over. Mark it down.

We are teeing a fine line right now, the least little thing will knock us off.

Pocket presence is pathetic. He has plenty of time he has a quick release he jsut has to throw it, and not stare down hs WR

As hard as it is to believe for a UT football fan, Bray is worse than Simms. If we wanna win, we need to stick with Simms, now and for the rest of the year.

Right now there is a Red Headed kid somewhere in the world holding a football and watching this game asking himself how the F his life has come to this.

We're going to need some defensive points in the second half.

With the way Florida snaps the ball and executing anything fundamental on offense, there's a glimmer of hope for a gimme TD.

Bottom line, Florida has a much better chance of righting the ship on offense than we do. As awful as Florida looks on offense, they are light years ahead of us. The pain.

Ever play on D makes you wonder if this is the plat Demps breaks one , every pass of Simms makes you wonder if this is the pick 6

So why not throw bray in? We can't trust simms to not throw the ball away! Throwing an int in the endzone is the qb cardinal sin.

I hope the coaching staff can get the entire team fired up and refocused and avoid a second half collapse like last week. GBO!!!

The only WR that's caught a pass for the Vols is Zach Rogers. We need to get others involved. That would help open up the run game.

Ours! (I hope).

It's actually a better game plan than last week, IMHO.

We effectively shortened the game. We are doing what we have to do - pass when we have to pass. We are keeping them in front of us and tackling well. We handled adversity a lot better.

It's pretty much the same game plan as last week and UT-Martin for that matter. Vary our defensive scheme and hide our blitzes and run the ball a lot. Only pass when we need to or when/if there are mismatches in our favor.

Unfortunately Simms didn't make the right choice in the Red Zone completely against what he was explicitly instructed to do.
