Bring back DeBose Bama!! After watching that game again, our LB's were just nasty! Wilson and Little were a wrecking crew. And on Offense, we actually used the middle of the field passing!! Slant after slant after slant. It was beautiful to watch.

Yes, yes we did. However, the Vols didn't start playing on a top 5 in the nation level until they recruited bigger stronger meaner guys on the OL and the DL. Those teams in the late 90s won because they had better linemen on both sides of the ball........and a lot of them.

I remember Gridscape in 1997 although the name might have been different. I hung out more on the CNN/SI college football board though. That was a great place. No filters, no moderation (mainly) -- and only one big long giant thread.
