I want to come down to Knoxville for the Arkansas game and I was wandering where I should stay? Where can I get the best deal and still be close to the stadium? Also are there places to camp overnight? I am coming all the way from Indiana so I need all the help I can get. Also what time does tailgating usually start and when should I get there? Thanks to all that help. GO VOLS!!

Tailgating usually starts around 8 or 9, depending on how hardcore you are. Not sure about camping close, but I'm sure there are tons of places to camp in the surrounding areas. How close do you want to be to Neyland?

As close as posible without paying a ton of money. Is there any hotels that are a few miles away from the stadium that provide transportation?

None that I found. Got my hotel room a few wks ago for the Southern Miss game and had to go 10 miles away. Better hurry.

there's a Days Inn on the strip that is prob sold out by now for game weekends but, worth a shot anyways.

Are you talking about the one between 17th and 18th? That one was closed last time I checked 3 months ago. There was a fire in the cafeteria, and then the whole building was closed for renovation. Is it open right now?
