Tennessee VS Akron - What I want to see tonight

(Actually tomorrow morning when I watch the game)

1. NO INJURIES.
2. A convincing win- I don't particularly care if they cover or not; I don't bet on the games anyway.
3. The Offense able to march down the field methodically. Jump to an early and dominant lead and never let go. Big plays are great, but when a defense can't stop you...
4. The Defense control the line of scrimmage, harass the Akron QB, and a lot of 3 and outs.
5. Special Teams clean up the mistakes from last week, albeit it will be hard to tell against a low caliber opponent. A long kickoff or punt return would be nice.
6. Hooker play maybe 1 series into the third with about 15 of 20 with 200-300 yds and 3-4 TDs. Milton play a few series and tack on 9 of 12 for 100-150 yds.
7. The ground game respond with a 200 yard outing.
8. NO INJURIES.

I do expect us to play a "milk toast" game this week, and expect Heupel will not fully unleash the dogs. The second string and third string will get some serious playing time, and the game will be a glorified scrimmage.

I hope & think we handle better than the 2012 Bowden led Zips. They hung around which told me we were in trouble heading to SEC.

I just want the Vols to cover the 47.5. It's all about cashing tickets!

What i want to see is for the announcers to actually call the game when the subs are in and quit disrespecting them by talking about everything else but the game. T. Jackson barely got a mention first game. I think they promused his mom they would talk about him later, but never did.

Your #1 and #8 are my main priorities other than a win. Had a bad dream...and I never remember my dreams but did this one...Bru was down and injured. Just get everyone thru this game healthy and give UF our best shot. Maybe we can end this curse THIS year.

We will score until Heupel has seen enough. Vawls 62 Zippers 18. They will get a few garbage time touchdowns at the end.

Needs.

No injuries. FIRST.
Hooker, settle down, lead the offense, from the first snap.
Get the run game going.
2+ turnovers. 3+ sacks.
Limit the Zips to less than 17 points.

Wants

Special teams be special, make a play.
Fake something, FG or punt, or on-side kick.
Defensive score.
Backups play way more than starters.

Hot wings and Peace and Quiet while game is on that is all I ask for in life is to be left alone during all UT sporting events.

I want to see Hooker with 5 or more TD’s……but I bet they will be working on the run game.

Well I didn’t say I wanted him hurt.

However if we’re on here “wishing”……..why not wish the starter pad his stats some before he sits?

I’d be down for that

However I doubt Hooker will be out of the game (as a good thing) in the 1st……unless maybe he does get maybe 4 or 5 td’s.

Truthfully it would be pretty cool to see Tennessee score 100 points.

Only problem if they did score 50 or so by halftime…..they would never score 50 in the second half.

Specifically I want to see Squirrel and Sampson get some meaningful snaps, not just kill the clock stuff. More catches by Holliday, Merrill and other receivers would be a plus. Late I would like to see that walkon back just to see what we have in case of emergency.
