If we have control of the game up about 12-15 I could see stokes getting a few minutes but if this game is close I wouldn't expect to see him at all.

I know I'm not the coach but I don't see how you can't put him in for a few minutes regardless of how it's going. He's gonna put Yemi in for minutes, maybe Miller too and I don't see him being a drop off from either of those two. I'm in no way calling either of them bad I just can't see how you don't put him in to see what he can bring.

i see exactly what you are saying and it makes sense, i think a big part of it is that ccm doesnt want to risk an injury by putting him out there when he is not ready. You know jarnell will get out there and push it 110% and will not hold back so i understand his though process.

Vols have a 1-0 Record in the SEC But Miss State clearly has the better record overall 13-3.
I think it's going to be a nailbiter.

I'm guessing a close score, but we will be playing catch-up all night. 80-86 MSU. I hope I'm wrong like I was on Saturday. GO VOLS!! Get Stoked!!

i feel like if tennessee is going to win then this will be a low scoring defensive game. im gonna think positive and say tennessee gets off to the 2-0 start and wins this one 72-64.

I think we slow them down. Chris, if you have an accurate score Sidney will be on oxygen the 2nd half. lol

I am thinking 68-64 and we fall short on the road again. I hope they prove me wrong

Going to be a tough game for VOls to win. Miss.St has several future NBA players. Cuonzo should have our guys ready to play. Speaking of Cuonzo, here is a great quote from Trae Golden about CCM:

." I tell people all the time we have a father-son type of relationship,” Golden said. “He helps me out in so many ways, just like my dad. Coach isn’t scared to tell me when I’m not doing something right. But he’s a very laid back guy who gets his point across without having to yell.

“I wouldn’t be the player I am today without him.”

that quote right there is why i believe he is going to be very succesful in recruiting talented players here. there were some pretty interesting quotes from stokes as well, something to the extent of "i looked forward to ccm calls, its not that i didnt wanna talk to the other coaches, but i really looked forward to just talking to ccm, and not even always about basketball just talking to him as a person. we have been through a lot of the same things in our lives."

he has a connection with these young athletes that i think is going to be very beneficial to him bringing in top talent here.
