Slim Jimmy says, Good basketball teams don't give up a 20 point lead to anyone. They keep as the old saying goes "pouring salt in the wound".

I can't believe we blew that game. What a disappointment. Less than 50% from the freebie line is pretty bad.:banghead2:

if i were coach, they would be in the gym shooting free throws until their arms fall off today .....then i'd have them switch to the other hand like Oden :)

I'll be suprised if we don't shoot better than 70% from the line next year...I'm confident that our players can look at the close losses this season, and understand the importance of making free throws...and I hope they put in the work to improve that part of their games.

I sure hope you are right ! Hit a few more free throws and we are getting ready for Memphis.

Free throw shooting cost us 3 games this year. If we want to make a championship run next year we must improve.

Didn't Pearl start doing something like that in practice earlier in the year? Seems like I remember it being mentioned somewhere that everyone had to hit a certain amount of free throws in a row before everyone was allowed to leave practice.
