Tennessee Vols have settled on unknown candidate for offensive coordinator position

I want a grand slam homerun hire, but we will probably get accidental bunt that we have to run out and barely get a single out of it and then say "whew I didn't think I was going to be safe".

We averaged just over 36 points per game in 2012 with Chaney. I knew that, deep down, you all wanted to know that. I believe he was also 1-0 as the head coach at UT. I mean, come on guys... a winning percentage of 100!!!

Biles would be a great hire IMHO.

I mean the team will definitely be more flexible on offense...

95% done? That means absolutely nothing.
I’ve listened to Doug religiously for the last several years. Convinced he’s lost fast ball when it comes to analyzing what he sees and projects regarding Tennessee football. Seriously doubt he has any earthly idea about the OC job search.

We will hire this type of OC........

So UT Admin can drive these types of cars.....

You do realize that Helton was paid about $1.2M ranking him #12 in the country - as our first year OC - most (maybe all) of the higher paid OCs had been in their positions longer. But carry on, and don't let facts get in the way of a good story.
