On September 19th, 2020 Furman will play UT at Neyland Stadium.

Nice homecoming for George Quarles.

UT is paying Furman 500,000 for the visit.

Per SEC Country.

After we put a good ole fashioned butt whooping on them, then maybe, just maybe we can steal Coach Quarles from them. Surely we can find a place for him on our staff somewhere. If not, either a position needs to be created and made available for him, or someone needs to be fired so he can take their spot. Coach Quarles is a rising star. It won't be too long until we see head coach attached to his name somewhere.

If Butch is still coaching then, he will find a way to let Furman be within a game tying touchdown in the 4th, followed by a post game pressed filled with "I will not apologize for any victory"

I know it's any easy win and it helps the FCS programs out, but I really wish we didn't schedule these kind of games. I understand why we do, though.

And here I was thinking there wouldn't be any big football-related news at this time of year.

Ugh... when these games are played tickets should be half off, as should anything else the stadium has to sell. Is this the game we got since we're no longer playing Ohio state?
