In any case, this should be a lesson. Don't buy tickets to a bowl game before it's actually announced as to where we're playing.

bowl announcement works fine for me... Dooley and Hamilton making their statements and answering questions... MCB vs UNC here we come!

MCB is ok by me....with the team we came into the year with, don't see how anyone could complain

That's the other thing I'm frustrated about. I chose to be prudent and wait to see where UT went and got burned. Gator Bowl tickets would have been easy to get, but the MCB is all but sold out thanks to all the people who jumped the gun. Now I'll probably have to pay through the nose to get any kind of decent MCB tickets.

Our exposure and most of our perception this year came from having half of our defensive roster on the field to lose the LSU game.

I don't buy the 'big" difference in exposure from the Gator, to the MCB.

I can remember a time when there were not enough bowls to go around and this would not have been good enough, of course i think there were only ten games at that time. Anyway would loved to have played michigan. But I'm not disappointed in getting paired with UNC.

My dad is just plain silly sometimes.

He was all fired up about the Gator bowl but when I told him it was MCB instead he got ticked off and is ranting about how much he hates Mike Hamilton and then actually said it was MY fault that we didn't get the Gator Bowl...

I didn't know I had that much power! Heck maybe I was responsible for the Chick-F-Lay fiasco last year too!

Bring on NC... start sweating Mike Hamilton, cause we are going to face the team you ran from.... ha ha...

I wonder if the bowl pay-out will be enough to cover what it cost Hamilton to get out his contract with UNC???????

"Summer's Eve" Hamilton IS the worst. He didn't want to face the outcry about not listing the Gator on the official ticket request and just sat back and wallowed in his own waste.

We're just telling you the facts. It's perennially one of the highest rated bowl games and has one of the highest, if not the highest payout of any non-BCS bowl.

The MCB drew a 1.95 rating last season while the Gator Bowl drew a 3.95, so the difference is quite significant. The Gator will likely go higher this year with the addition of an SEC team and Michigan playing.

Please tell me that UT fans are not complaining that we are going to th MCB. Please, tell me I have arrived on a Gator site and everyone of these complainers are pretending to be UT fans in order to torture me. Tell me that our fans havent lost their common sense. Can we just celebrate the fact that this team worked their asses off to get us bowl eligible?

Is that too much to ask? Just to STFU and enjoy the bowl and extra practices
