Tennessee to appear in the Music City Bowl

Gator is more interested in TV audience for this game.

Attendance needs to be good, but TV numbers will attract title sponsor.

Miss St. v Michigan isn't a bad game. Miss St. should win.

Bowls have to take teams with an above-.500 record before than can take .500 teams. I understand the hatred for MH, but take it easy this time, nothing he could do. This year, we should probably just accept the MCB and be damn happy with it.

If that's true, we have eight lower level seats for the MCB and hotel rooms for sale. I would have been happy to go to the MCB, but if the SEC pushed us out of a higher bowl, I will keep my dollars home.

Vols deserve Music City, but with the Outback taking Florida it created another fiasco that was left to nothing more than barganing, which we lost out on.

Its just the tease that we could have. I think most here expected MCB. But the thought of the Gator bowl was tantalizing for sure. Lets come back strong next season and earn a better bowl.

We were set to go to Outback bowl last year, and Auburn "campaigned" for it and got it.

Agree, but it's pretty pathetic that Slive has never done one thing for the Vols (NCAAB tourney where we got screwed a few times on seeding, bowl situation, etc...) If he wanted to make a fuss, he should have done it with the Outback Bowl who started all this crap. Oh wait... we are talking about the Florida Gators.

UNC just added another road game to its schedule. Music City Bowl will be an orange-splosion. Nashville jumping for joy.

and how does tourney seeding reflect the commish anyway?
