Tennessee tied for fifth most players drafted

Mike Garrett is an idiot and hired a safe, sexy pick for HC.

Phil, Bowden, Paterno etc, will all have a rough go at a HC job because of their age, not their coaching abilities.

The problem with your comparison of Fulmer to Bowden and Paterno is that it's bogus. Fulmer is over 20 years younger than both of them:

Fulmer: September 1, 1950
Bowden: November 8, 1929
Paterno: December 21, 1926

What's your next excuse?

No disrespect to Coach Chaney. He's a great coach. But some of you are giving him too much credit for Cromp. He never worked with the QB's and Coach Kiff called the plays and handled the Offensive meetings.

You act as if the guys that were drafted didn't have outstanding seasons. Do seven guys playing well mean you're supposed to win a lot of games?

yea in a seven on seven league. too bad we play with 11 on each side of the ball...

Who could we have drafted next year?

Stocker and Chris Walker are the only locks that I can think of.

I could see D. Moore, G. Jones, and possibly Ben Martin getting a look. Martin will have to step up his production, but we've all seen what a difference a year can make.

Depending on productivity Art Evans and Anthony Anderson might get looks. They've got prototypical size that the NFL is looking for in CBs and that can compensate for some lackings in productivity. I think if one of them wins SEC 1st or 2nd team they could possibly go in the 3-5th Rounds. If they both do well and run fantastic combine numbers (notably 40 and vertical) they might edge their way into 1-2nd Round.

How many coaches hired after age 60 have been successful? There aren't very many.

I really don't get why Martin gets so much more play than Gerald Williams on here.
