Tough call seeing as how UK is late in the year. I couldn't imagine decent seats being more expensive that 25 or 30 bucks near game time. I've gotten incredible deals about 10 minutes before kickoff. My buddies got a pair of Vandy tix for $10 a few years ago.

I noticed at Bama you can buy their similar seats for individual games or packets of three games. Is this the case with the TT? Does it include a locker for alcohol too I might add?

Yes I could but them seats are far upper deck and endzones. I can pay face value for select games and be on the feild like last yr

Its sad that UT and MH has made it all about a business and all but took the fun out of it.
It would be different if Tn was winning SEC championships and NCS.
I like how we once had the 3rd largest stadium and now MH is taking us in reverse.

The seats are way too expensive for this economy and a mediocre team. UT needs to rethink their pricing until the team improves.

Not bad seats though man... some folks act like the uppers are a distant land.... when all actuality they are not bad seats.... I have been there going on 5 years in the upper north row 9.... wouldn't move if i had to... sat on the 40 sidelines with relatives once last year..... and I like mine better... you can see the plays develop better...

UK tickets will be available in a week to 10 days. ticket office will have them. online option may also be available but calling ticket office you can talk with someone about different options.

there will likely be plenty available day of game also

To each his own but I'm with ya. I'd rather watch the play develop and not have to rely on the jumbo tron to see what the play looked like. There's nothing as exciting as seeing a WR break away from the defender then the pass to him or to see the hole in the line open for the RB to hit.

that is crazy...what about other schools in the SEC and in the country? are they that expensive? i mean i was wondering where they where getting all this money from to build and redo everything...they might need to hold back seeing the economy and people are saving their money more. just seems stupid 2 me...

Why are people complaining? It's a luxury seat section. Season tickets are a privilege not right. Just get tickets in a section you can afford, and quit whining.

No kidding. It's not like this development has suddenly sucked up all the tickets and made it impossible for non-donors to attend games. If some people are willing to pay higher prices for more comfortable seats, decent concessions and restrooms, and a little room to walk, why does it bother others so much?

Given the condition of some areas of Neyland, honestly, any improvements to our home battlefield should be welcomed by us all.

I wasn't complaining. I was just pointing out that with several mediocre years behind us, and little prospect for excitement around the program in the immediate future, that it's kind of a bad time to be trying to sell these high dollar seats. They'll fill them with no problem if they can ever get the football program back on track. Mike Hamilton has shown time and again the mediocrity will be tolerated and even rewarded when it comes to football, and until he remedies that, he'll have a hard time filling the stadium that he's spent so much on upgrading.

I feel certain the TT section will be full come UT-Martin game...

the money to build and redo things does not come from ticket sales or game sales at all. that money helps fund atheltic department.

all building comes from capital donations. those are entirely separate from donations for tickets...

It may be, but I would be willing to bet almost anything that the entire stadium won't be. Even last year with all the buzz, the WKU game wasn't sold out. After all the steps back this offseason I have a tough time seeing the stadium full for the opener. Oregon may be close to a sellout, and UF will for sure with all the fans they'll be bringing.

I think HD TV and traffic have hurt attendance more than ticket prices and performance.

Hard for most to leave the comfort of home.

That being said I still make it out for one game a year, and I am in CA.

oh, I don't think any game will be a sell out this year. lot of upper deck seats will not be sold. And scattered lower level seats will be available. I just think the TT section will get sold.

Was just a few years ago one could pick up Florida tickets off the ground and go on in. there were so many people were tossing them down

Yeah they are way over priced. When they contacted me that is what I told them. In addition I explained that I have Dallas Cowboys season tickets in a brand new 1 Billion dollar stadium with proffessional atheletes earning millions of dollars and every game is compelling. My seats in Dallas are on the Mezzianene level right next to the club seats and my PSL was $10,000 upfront for a 30 year liscense and my season tickets are $2,500 a year for a total over 30 years of $85,000. That is for 10 games (2 preason & 8 regular season) Compare that to UT Tennesse Terrace of $4,000 up front and then $6,000 a year over 30 years would be $184,000. For only 7 games and a couple of those being against teams like UAB and UT-Martin. Paying for collegiate athletes not proffessionals or good teams. They expect be to pay almost a $100,000 more for less games, lesser talent, and teams. Does not make sense. I love the Vols but this Tennessee Terrace is not a good investment. Go Vols.:cray:
