The Tennessee baseball team lost to Coastal Carolina 10-5 in their second game here on Friday at BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Vols drop to 1-4 on the season and suffer their fourth straight loss since a 5-4 victory over Oregon State on opening day.

Don't know how Osborne the SS is still playing. He's made multiple errors already and can't hit worth a lick. Time for Grisham. Decent fielder and can at least put a bat on the ball unlike Osborne.

I cant figure it out. Grisham hasn't seen the field this year that I know of. Looking at his stats from last season he played 40 plus games with 30 plus starts and hit .244. Don't know where Raleigh played but thats pretty fair in SEC ball for a sophomore mid fielder. My sources tell me he led the team most of the fall and all this spring in hitting and I know he had pretty fair range so it is hard for me to reason why he isn't playing unless he is hurt, Does anyone know? Looks to me that if healthy he sould be playing for someone who is playing.

6 errors. What has happened?

We will end up dead last in the SEC playing like this.

Raleigh must play favorites.

Raleigh doesn't play favorites. He's going to do whatever it takes to win and will play guys that give him the best chance to win. He's letting Osborne play thru a slump. When you struggle at the plate it will eventually creep its way into defense.

Its early.....Tennessee is not going to win the College World Series, lets face it. They need to get better and to get better they must play games and be ready for SEC play. Most we can hope from this team is that they are competitive in the SEC.
