I’m thinking it is. Slowly climbing the ladder on every stat, can’t really hurt us. I think if we continue, especially on the defensive side of the ball, Pruitt and company will have this defense showing out. It is just a matter of time before we’re tops in the league. There are some nice gems hidden in there!
I didn't say "great".... I'm talking a 30 ppg O... not 40.I'd like to believe that, but I still don't think we're good enough yet for that to be true. Got to keep getting better up front period.
We are a completely different team now than we were early in the season. I would like to know how we stack up nationally in the past 4 weeks.
FWIW, Kentucky's D has been impressive over the past 3 games, allowing just 107 passing yards and 288 total yards per game (vs Arkansas, Georgia and Missouri). To beat them, IMO, we'll have to do a significantly better job of running the ball than we have lately; we've averaged just 3.3 ypc in the last 6 games. Against UAB, 60% of our running plays went for 2 yards or less.
You shouldn't be scared. That scares me.
Please don't confuse the Miserable Minority with facts. They do not care what they have to say. JG is terrible and nothing will change their minds. Not to suggest that maybe volnation is overreaction with JG, but numbers don't lie... though they might not tell the whole truth. We might be a little hard on the young man.
> Jarrett Guarantano ranks sixth in the SEC in passer rating (144.36) and yards per attempt (8.0) and has the same number of touchdown passes as Georgia's Jake Fromm.
