25% of his show is either dead air or him chewing his lunch. Tune in at the wrong time and you'll wonder if it's even on. I haven't listened to him in a while

Russell Smith needs a full time partner for The Drive. His show isn't nearly as good since Terry Fair left and it would be nice to have Basilio play second fiddle for a change because he sucks as a full time host.

Regardless of what you think of his show, Tony's a good dude. Its fairly obvious his show didn't not fit the direction TSR is headed. Should be good for both parties.

Unless something changed, he was buying his time from 1180 so its not exactly like losing his job. He'll land somewhere, and probably rather quickly. He's a decent network built over the years.

I agree. He will end up somewhere. Wasn't my favorite but still listened to him on occasion.

Wow, I've been out of the loop. Don't listen to TB as much as I did when we moved to K-town in 97, but I always enjoyed his effort to stir the pot.

That station doesn't exist anymore. It's been gone for several months.
WNOX was bought by Journal Broadcast Group. WNOX is now Classic Hits on 93.1 and 100.3 is a country station also owned by JBG.

It was time to put that Ed and Bob morning show out of its misery. For a while, it was the only station that would come in clear at work. I grew to hate that show.

The station doesn't exist but most of their programming (The Drive, Herman Cain, D. Ramsey, etc) moved to 850am under the WKVL call letters.
