Looked at Ole Miss schedule and scores they are legit probably it going to take us playing top shelf softball to beat them which we can!

They have won over some very good teams and don't do it with the homerun only 34 on the season. .281 hitting as a team which is down the list evidently they have had a lot of timely hits. Very solid pitching staff 2.02 as a team. Borgen and Jacobsen are lefthanders and that spells trouble for us you would think even though sometimes we have done better against lefties than righties. Finney and Tillman are righties have pitched a lot of innings. They certainly have the pitching.

The team that wins this series gets to challenge LSU for second place. If we win the series two of three we would have 8 losses. If they win two of three they would have 7 losses. If we sweep were 14 and 7 tied with LSU. If they sweep they are 14 and 6 ahead of LSU. LSU has Bama in the last series while we have Texas A&M at home. So a huge series hopefully we start out right with a win tonight.

They usually look bad the first time through the lineup. I’ll hold judgement until the 2nd time around.

Awful start from the top of the order. Leach gets on and steals a base to get in scoring position, then three of our next-best batters watch strikes go by. Sleepwalking through the first round again.

well you may be right but our 1st inning is the second most runs scored in and the 3rd is the most for this year.

It’s not as bad as the lineup with Leach at SS. I actually like Gracie at catcher, but I don’t know if it’s worth losing her at SS and Chelsea moving away from 3rd.

I think Osbron is a good catcher it just moves Chelsea off third

Yes I forgot you were with us on this as well!! Phillips will work well at catcher because she has proved she can hit .

Four runners left on base in 2 innings-- and 3 of the 4 were in scoring position. So costly.
