It doesn't matter to the outcome of the game, but I notice they have Bearden 2-3 for the game in the box score. How can you not give her a hit her first at bat? Didn't the 2nd baseman dive for the ball and throw from her knees? You can't assume an out on that. Bearden went to 2nd on the bad throw so it should be a single and an error. Shouldn't it? Or am I remembering the wrong play?

I agree and that girl made a good play and the throw would not have got her I don think after watching replay

I thought going in that the doubleheader was to their advantage since it would limit our use of Rogers.

We haven't been playing like a top 10 team for a while. We have the talent, but we're just not consistent. Leach and Seggern have been off for several weeks and we're not getting much offensive production from anybody but Bearden.

If we lose this series, I doubt we'll get a top 8 seed.
