I hope Arnold gets going. I will say Rogers is a big ole pitcher in a good way. She could/can pitch a lot but the problem is you don't want the other team to see your pitchers too much. She did great after Texas already seeing her. We need Arnold at least in the midweek games to give everyone a break, if on she is a top line pitcher she just needs to find her groove.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, long time LV softball fan here, but just now discovering these forums.Whatever happened to Brooke Vines? I know she was injured last year but I was thinking this year was supposed to be her senior year? Maybe I'm wrong, and if so I am sorry. I just really enjoyed watching her play her FR and SO years. Thought she showed a lot of talent and promise pre-injury.

Her family's doctors and UT's doctors and medical staff could not reach a consensus on the status of her shoulder during and after last season. She is on medical scholarship this year and not with the team. She will have the option to play elsewhere as a graduate transfer next year if she wishes.

Florida got a bad call to give LSU the tie but on a 3 0 pitch Barnhill threw a strike to their best hitter -- what did she do look at it since it was 3 0? No she drove it to the gap and won the game. Against really good pitching when you get a pitch attack! Barnhill was really sad after the game. Lsu coach tried to pull a Ralph the runner at 1 was their fastest runner she just put her head down went full till from the hit ran right through the stop sign and scored. Did the Lsu coach get mad no just laughed because she knew she had chickened out at the last second.

LSU also had a bad call at first base go against them the inning before, so it all evens out.

Softball tomorrow & Wednesday. Tenn plays on the road @ Liberty & then @ NC.
No TV and no watchespn either. All games to be on radio. That's a bummer for sure.

Friday's game vs Arkansas will be on ESPNU @ 4 pm ET.

Was just checking the firestick espn app (watchESPN). You can watch Liberty game if you have the ESPN+ which you have to have an extra subscription for. The North Carolina game shows up under ACCextra which it appears you can watch if you have Espn. It seemed like it was going to let me watch just said it was on and gave date and time. If you are super die hard there is a free one week trial period for ESPN+ I don't like doing that cause I will forget to cancel. Just some info take it for what it is worth.

That ump had 3 somewhat close plays at 1st and missed all 3 of them. Twice against LSU and once against Florida late in the game. He was too busy hopping and pointing to make himself the show that he missed the calls.

Liberty at 4 pm still no lineup or starting pitchers posted. I am sure we will get their pitcher with the 1.16 era. Big game for us would really be a great win on the road against a team undefeated at home this season.
