Yep, I agree. I've watched Lady Vols now 15 years on TV & umps are still calling balls & strikes the same way.

I've seen some umps call a strike when the ball is in the other batter's box.

I wish they would just ban slap hitting. Stand in there and take your three best cuts at it. There should be no judgemet call over being in the box or not. Swing, then run. Cut it out entirely.

I am finished with the ump but she called Leach out twice on a pitch she could not hit if she tried. THat dog has never seen as many pitches as Aubrey has in her life. I go wtih the ALs young eye rather than that blind heifer!!

Everything turned into BS for Tenn today.....so far. Tenn Baseball Vols are winning against Auburn 2-0.

Tough when you give up two hits and lose a game. Happens and got a couple of tough ones coming up. Liberty has a pitcher that is gonna give us a rough time. Hopefully we get good pitching in that game and can score three or four runs. All these teams are getting that one pitcher that is awesome and gives them a chance to win. Liberty lost to UCLA 4 to 3 and they have a win over one SEC team this season. After that game at NC who don't have the pitching of Liberty but they have one that is very good. We need to take these two road games and get back into SEC play against Arkansas.

Didn’t get to watch ( watched our b-ball no show ) but the good news is after Texas seeing Rogers all weekend she still pitched great. Texas I saw them live they are loaded with talent however they got it. It sounded like O’leary got a good strike zone but she is big fast and imposing on the mound she needs no help. I said it the other day would be surprised
if Texas doesn’t make the World Series.

Yep and they have two quality pitchers and a lefty to help if they need it. Oleary is a freshman and throws 68-70. They are going to be good but us having to use AR twice had to hurt. After the BB vols failed to show up in Nashville I was afraid this may happen as well. I know CA has some health issues but we need her healthy and back to her normal which she really has not been this year. I hope this is not like the last 10 or more years where we cannot get a third pitcher in the year. By the way the baseball vols went into the 8th leading 3-2 and ended it behind 5-3.Two outs in the 9th so I will give Auburn a sweep of them and us for today!

Ground ball to osbron who threw wildly to 2nd and a walk scored from first. Other run was not needed but not of the hard hit fashion. AR gave up 2 hits and no earned runs but the dog lady ump called Leach out of two outside pitches and we just could not get the big hit.Texas won fair and square.

I watched Florida at LSU last night and watching today. 6 out of 7 slapping bats stepped out of the box as bad or worse as Holcomb does and not one yet been called. Damn glad all the umpires get the same training!!LOL

It seems that we have tried to get away from them. I am glad. Three run HR has been needed the last 10 years as well as a quality LH pitcher or two. I know we have some coming. Gabby did not fit the bill and I was watching Ole mS and oke state today. Gabby pitching for OKe and behind in third inning 9-1. She still is stuggling.
