I guess I'll get multiple answers, but I will ask anyway. Why don't the umps call the crow hop? Can't the base ump make the call?

I know it is FL. But the umps have recently gotten tough on the slappers. Why not the crow hoppers?

Didn’t get to watch til now 2 out of 3 Florida we will take it. I’ve kept quiet on Barnhill all weekend cause they are just not going to call the crow hop. They showed replay side angle when she struck out Phillips it was laughable how far out she went without dragging. They only showed that angle once wonder why? But with a great pitcher and she is when you get a pitch to have to attack Karen mentioned it. You might get one pitch to hit an at bat at best. Going try to see them this weekend some. The ump did not do us any favors either. Great start to the SEC! Go Vols!

I had a church luncheon today so just got to watch and post. I am with Karen, we did not compete today . Barnhill was sharp today and the ump made sure of that. WhIen Leach strikes out twice the pitcher is nearly unhittable . Our girls just went back to the theory swing hard and you may hit it. Phillips is the only one who actually took great cuts today. It seemed to me that Ralph was determined to let CA pitch her way to a loss before he did anything. Matty then regressed to HR matty but that second HR by Lorenz was Ralphs fault. He had a chance to walk her but stood and watched game 3 go to a run rule for them. All in all good series and we knew they were coming in pissed and they were. All of us can complain about the famous crop hop but she has not been called for it ever and this year in no different. JMHO as always!! I will add that Shipman did as well!

Watching the LSU and A&M game.....The LSU pitchers trail foot barely came off the ground, called illegal pitch......But the umpire is calling it like it should be called.

The crow hopper of the Gators comes off the ground 3-4 inches, no problem....

It really sucks that Florida can get a way with this stuff....

Actually, and I may be remembering this wrong, but when the the ball got stuck in Leach’s glove and she threw late and inaccurately to first, a rarity, that would have been the third out, and they would have not kept playing and getting the run rule.
