LA I think she will if we are patient with her she will get stronger and acclimated to the college game . Her position requires so many talents and trials as well. Don't know her but her father was the head softball coach at Henry County High School in Paris so she is a coaches brat. Scarlett McSwain took over his position now and I think the family relocated to the Kville area to watch Gracie play.Osbron has had two errant throws today. The first wasn't counted as an error because the batter was called out for stepping out of the box. After her first solid AB, she's had a rough weekend-- but it's her first. She came in with such high expectations-- and has such big shoes to fill. We need her to find her groove quickly. Maybe next weekend in CA.
Rogers and Shipman are doing great. Impressive starts for both of them.
The only reason Leach goes over there is to give Osbron some rest. Leach does not really have the arm to play short at a high level. JMHO as always!Right now the best defensive shortstop is Parsons or moving Leach over there. Great pitching by Rogers the freshman threw 142 pitches today big win big time game for her.

I agree about Ayala. If Holcomb can stay in the box she will help us in the outfield again this year I think. Ralph pulled her after she stepped out of the box when batting second and she did not play the next game it think. She has had so much trouble getting the new rule down pat that she has got to be a mental case now. I though he had got her attention because she played some since but did not start. I a pulling for her , my goodness she is an experienced junior and we need her. If Bearden can continue to put the bat on the ball she will help us a lot.Yep, we all want her to succeed, and Karen has raved about her ability to make plays. She just got off to a rough start, coming off that awful injury. Our IF seems set, except for SS. Really hope Osbron comes on strong, instead of having to tinker by shifting Leach or Seggern (neither ideal) and adding Parsons or Huffstetler. Seems Parsons might compete for an outfield spot with Phillips and Holcomb. I think Ayala has one of them locked down.
