Was yesterday's Tenn softball game w/Ole Miss on a streaming video or do we get to "listen"?
I watched the Vols Baseball game w/Arkansas last night & forgot about the LV's softball game.

I'll also be watching the Vols play their baseball game tonight w/Arkansas..

I’m not trying to be a smart-aleck by this, but I’m not sure I understand the point/ benefit of that drill. Is it purely a stamina-building exercise? Are they trying to develop the pitcher’s muscle memory? Building focus?

If someone who knows a lot more about pitching than I do knows the answer, I’d love to hear it.

Hey all, just wanted to get my first post out of way. Not new to this board, been reading for a couple of yrs now. UT alum but live out of state so this board has been my inside info site for BB and SB. Lots of very knowledgeable people on here with good info. Just thought I would like to add to the conversation some. I have been a bit underwhelmed by the SB team this year, was expecting more. Arnold has been a mystery and losing Shipman seems to have hurt more than I thought it would. Not much time left to raise the level of play but it can happen. Also, FYI on LV BB, I was wanting a coach change sooner than later so hopefully that program can get back on track.

Here is my season assessment of our hitting from a pure observation and feelings look the stats may say different. We got off to a great start against some pretty good pitchers and teams, We were aggressive from the get go. Then Ally got hurt and we had some freshman and others start to slump some (perfectly normal in a season), I would have liked the coaches to have come out and said we are going to go watch film see what is missing and get it back and work with our hitters and not change our approach But instead we got Ralph in that fateful interview saying we did not have enough "speed" in our lineup thus begin the endless lineup shuffles and lack of aggression at the plate (only Haley overall has continued to rip Phillips tries), and here we are. The better teams rally by getting the long ball we are getting base runners but that single base at approach leads to people coming up with said base runners without the mentality to drive in runs just looking for the next base (Leach as great as she is has been guiltly of this as have others). Our approach now will get us the to the home regional how much farther I'm not confident unless something changes. How many big rallies have we had lately? No long ball no rallies like Georgia and South Carolina a number of times today, Rant over. Thanks

Lefty pitcher starting today- Jacobson. Lineup loaded again with lefty hitters. Usually doesn’t spell success. Let’s see. And no parsons. Short leash. Batting over .400. Does that make any sense

Sure wish Ralph or Karen would give an interview and explain the strategy on some of these lineup moves but Ralph just gets all defensive if someone questions his coaching strategy. All we want to know is the why to have some understanding of these crazy changes.

Arnold having her usual first inning. LV's must be the only team in the country that has not figured out their starting lineup with 1 week left. I think its time Ralph/Karen.
