Tennessee Softball 2026

What is the schedule for UT this week? Maybe I missed it on
another thread.

On a pace to hit just as many maybe a few more homeruns than last years team. This years team is hitting about 40 points higher than last year in the same amount of games. Also last season team hit .302 so were 38 points better than that finish thus far. This year team is averaging 8 runs a game thus far three runs more per game than last years team. Everything looks real promising for an fantastic season if this team can maintain their present performance.

All this IMO,

Peyton is going to be another star pitcher. She's just started pitching competitively after recovering from injury. She pitched well in Clearwater in her first outing in a while.

Karlyn, Erin, Maddi and Sage will carry the load, at least initially, with appearances from Peyton. Four deep in quality pitchers and I expect five with Peyton breaking into the lineup at some point.

Let's see what Megan can do with Kailey. Talent is there. She is a strong Tennessee girl who also has a big bat.

This is a young team overall with only one starter graduating (Karlyn). We will also lose great teammates in Cam, Jackie, and Aubrey but bring in a top 6 freshman class that has pitching talent as well.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27
G1: 10:00 a.m. – NC Central vs. App State
G2: 12:30 p.m. – Penn State vs. NC Central
G3: 3:00 p.m. – Tennessee vs. App State
G4: 5:30 p.m. – Tennessee vs. Penn State

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28
G5: 10:00 a.m. – App State vs. NC Central
G6: 12:30 p.m. – Penn State vs. App State
G7: 3:00 p.m. – Tennessee vs. Penn State
G8: 5:30 p.m. – Tennessee vs. NC Central

Sounds like we may need to form a worry circle to focus on some MLB team swooping in and grabbing Karen!
