She didn’t have a problem getting the Leach twins playing time over her. Writing is on the wall with them and Katie would be crazy to stay. I can’t remember the small slapper that was the pinch runner last year. Went to middle Tennessee state and had an all conference season and played all year so congrats for her..

It was Mesusan who went to ETSU. She played well enough there for the awards but had her struggles on defense too.

Again if it was truly something that happened off the field you can’t really control what decisions Karen decided to make. Actions have consequences & in this case it was next woman up.

Not my place. Good kid, needs to grow up. Wasn't coming back next year after the time she was away from the team back in March.

Glad your not telling her business so props to you. I have no idea what happened and hate that she's leaving the team but I'm proud of her for being a great teammate. She is always one of the first out to celebrate a home run and always cheering with a big smile in the dug out. It was so awesome when she hit her last home run when she pinch hit. I can't recall the game but it was a great moment for her. I wish her good luck where ever she goes and they will be lucky to have her.

She has gotten worse in the circle every year, particularly since her pitching coach went to Mississippi State. I don’t think she’s getting the daily coaching that she needs to continue getting better. If you think you can fix that, then bring her in. I think Tennessee will only have room for one pitcher in the portal, and they will probably aim a little higher to start. If she’s not in a hurry to make a decision, then she could end up here as a great fallback option.
