Girl beside me today from FSU (played softball there) was so knowledgeable about the game. I learned soooo much. Apparently, this Stanford pitcher has been overlooked and OU hasn’t been really tested in Big12 play. She said Texas and OSU were overrated (OSU lost something like 12 of their last 13 to end the season). She said it wouldn’t shock her to see TN take out OU in the winner’s bracket. Also learned OU loves the rise ball which is why we likely saw Ashley today instead of tomorrow. Some interesting insight she had into Alabama’s coaching tactics and that several key players there would likely transfer after the season ends. Also some interesting stuff on Donihoo leaving OU.

Do tell...re: Bama players possibly leaving and Donihoo’s departure from OK...

There was a lot of talk last season of there being a split locker room at Bama. Sounded like Fouts, Shipman and Prange had a lot to do with it. Maybe some of that followed them into this season as well?

You are correct both did, G from Arizona and Payton from Bowling Green.

Payton has been an absolute gem from the portal.

I think it’s why Kilfoyl left. Also remember KB Sides left before last season and was SEC POY at Arkansas. Didn’t they have someone transfer mid season this year?

Stanford has a very bad offense. Kiki has more homers than they do as a team. The game between them and Bama could be painful to watch.

Alyssa Brito transferred in from Oregon. Worked out well for both programs.

So didn't rule use to be the pitchers foot had to be on the rubber until the ball was released?? As you stated, Bahl leaps about a foot off before she releases the ball. No umps calling it so assume that is an old rule.

They have two of the best high school pitchers from last year, both LHP. The number #1 player in the class is the only one to see time. The other SJ Gueron hasn’t seen the circle and she was committed for a few years. Kirsten Deal was committed to South Carolina and decommitted a few weeks before signing day.
