I don’t mind sending her there as it took a near perfect throw. If she had stayed at third then some would complain that Karen was being too conservative.

Plus our 4-6 hitters didn’t do anything first at bat so…

Yes it was a good call to send her with no outs. 3 things have to happen to throw a runner out: 1. a good throw 2. fielder has to catch it 3. make the tag. A fast runner has the advantage.
