IU's Taryn Kern is the real deal. I've seen her play often this year. One game, she ran from her 2nd base slot into foul territory, dove to catch the ball, and then slid on her belly down the steps into the dugout. Then, she popped up with a big grin and ran back to her position. She has 22 homers, too. Oh, and Cora Bassett is quality, too.
