Tennessee Signs Deal With Doordash

I live pretty far out in the country so if I ever ordered any kind of delivery it'd be ice cold by the time it got to me so I've never bothered(if there were even drivers willing to go out that far), but nice that some people will get some savings out of it I suppose.

I have never doordashed, uber ate, or had any 3rd party deliver food to me.
Used door dash once because I got stuck with a GC for Christmas dirty santa. Yeah, I don't get it. If you want old, cold, food that you have to pay extra for (on top of already high prices) then it's for you! I don't really even like getting take out more than 10 minutes away. I like my food hot and fresh.

If anyone here works in this space, I mean no offense....but have you seen some of the people who deliver this food? I've done it a few times and there were times I didn't even want to touch the bags after seeing the people who delivered it and cars that it was delivered in.

From the descriptions of the drivers here, I'm assuming the old joke has shifted a little:

How do you get a drummer off your porch?
Pay him for the pizza..... uh.... DoorDash.

You guys sound like you're describing musicians, which I've heard use delivery/Uber as work because they can blow off work easily to practice or gig. That could be the next JellyRoll or Post Malone dropping off your $35 Taco Bell order.

Me either...I've seen too many of the drivers and their vehicles. To each their own.
The food is sealed now, if the seal is broken when it arrives you are not responsible and can get your money back. Lots of shady stuff happened in the early days of food delivery but it's not that way anymore.

There's always an exception though

One day a stadium will be smart to be able to order Door Dash throughout the stadium to deliver to your seat (kids have tips built in to order to take them to your seat..) ...(Not just premium)

You tip your drivers?
And this is a big reason i don't. Had a friend order something for $10, she tipped $5. 50 percent of her order, and the driver went to the county Facebook page, posted her info with a picture of her house, and complained about the $5 tip, telling others to avoid because she was cheap😆

Not me, I use doordash and uber eats like a champ. It's made me lazy, but keeps me out of traffic and having to spend an hour driving back and forth.
I used it once. It was cold outside and the ******* who delivered it just left my food on the porch without knocking or letting me know it was there, so it sat out in the cold for 5 minutes before I knew to get it.
