I have an idea since coaches must take a test before they can recruit lets give him recruiting credentials if he passes. If a coach does something wrong and skips town to take another job pull his recruiting credentials instead of punishing the school he left holding the bag.
How would they punish Kiffin and not USC? Kiffin is a complete douche bag but they can't punish USC for what he did at UT. Nothing major will come of this. At most UT gets probation and Kiffin has the NCAA crawl farther up his rear with a magnifying glass.
I seen it they said Tennessee should not get into trouble over the Bryce Brown stuff. People on here are something else. They always think ESPN is out to get Tennessee. I am a VOLS fan. When Tennessee starts doing some good things then they will talk good about the Vols. Boo Hoo ESPN didn't say something great about Tennessee.
The tests are already in place. I agree that the punishment should also go to the coach. I wouldn't say the school is completely innocent in all cases. They should take it case by case. I think the guilty coach(es) should be BANNED from coaching 1-3 yrs.

I am a Vol through and through, but UT deserves EVERYTHING it gets from the NCAA. The punishment should NOT follow the coach. It was Mike Hamilton's JOB to bring in a coach who would do things the right way and not get us in trouble. Instead, Hamilton sat quietly in the background while Kiffin brazenly engaged in what he called at the time "minor violations." We'll see how minor they are now.
Sanctions like the ones USC got are not designed to punish a coach or fans. It's designed to slap the wrist of the school/institution so that they do a more upstanding job in the future of running their programs. You can blame Kiffin all you want, but I don't blame him. I blame Mike Hamilton.
