Tennessee should win the east...

If UT wins out this year, and they should, I think they will be the preseason favorite to win the east division next year. They return more starters on defense than any team in the SEC, and have all of the key players returning on offense.

So silly. Let us finish this year before we start next year.

If the east were a raffle prize and we bought the only ticket. We will contend my friend but favored to win? No way.

I think we are favored in the East next year. We will be a very good football team. Look for Dobbs on the cover of Athlon, Phil Steele, Sporting News and other publications in August. We will be trending.

If we win out this year how does that have anything to do with being the favorite next year?

How you finish the season combined with returning players is kinda how they determine preseason favorites.

If we finish the season with 5 wins (including bowl game) we could very well be considered contenders for the East next year.

Our schedule will more than likely keep us from being favorites though.

Zero starts though, right?. Tough to win the East unless he is really solid as a first year starter.
He's never started, but he's probably better, physically at least, than Hutson Mason right now. UGA is going to be more about elite RBs and finding a defense for the next couple of years though.

Agreed. I think/hope a young QB could lose a game or 2 for them (if he isn't ready) that could decide the East.

I believe this team has the capability of earning that type of praise. They'll have to win and win convincingly in these last 3 games though.

By the way this bunch has voted. UT wins out and we could end up in the top 25 this year.:)

Can we please just beat Kentucky first. Then I will worry about Missouri. These visions of grandeur are what cause the meltdowns of people who expect so much from this young team.

I say we win almost every SEC game, but not Bama

Then there is Third Saturday II: Prepare to Vol again in a rematch for the title

Think it depends on what Muschamp does. If he keeps his job and thinks look bright iy wil be UF.
And if not unless UT blows it up they will likely keep it safe with the Dawgs.

I think we will have the most stability at least. Rrturning 20 of 22 starters, all our coaches, rising stock qb and rb. Solid d with alot more help coming. And the other big 3 have lots of question marks. Georgia will have a new qb, south carolina will most likely have a new defensive coordinator, florida might have a nee coach.

This is far from certain. It's rare for a coaching staff to stay together in its entirety for 3 years. You never know when assistants might get offered a promotion or just a job they like better.

Fair point. Hopefully we keep them all. Seems like the only one in question was bajakian and with dobbs running the show the heat on him has cooled significantly.
