If JG is the next coming of tennessee football I'm all in on him braking salami's back and beating them back into the red clay from which they crawled from. He's going to need some help from the O line though!

There is no question mark with SC. Butch has done that. Muschamp...yes, there is still the big question mark. Butch has beaten all of our main rivals except Bama to date.

He almost beat Bama in Tuscaloosa two years ago....then got his ass waxed in Knoxville this past season. Not quite a coin flip, but no worse than anyone else in the past decade (give or take a year).

As a coach....Butch has done no worse than any coach in the last decade (to include Fulmer's last couple of years. Could he have done better? That's the question. As fans we tend to always look at the best results possible. Not the what is actually going on possibilities.

From a personal standpoint, am I still behind Butch Jones? Yes. Does that mean I will always be? No. This season will tell. I know the pluses we have going into the season. I know the minuses we have going into the season. I overall like the staff changes that have been made. I really like that Butch was quieter (on day one) in practice) this year in practice. My hope (maybe just feeling) is that he is taking more of a Dabo approach to being the head football coach. I've said for a while that that would be a good move for him. Time will tell. As for now.....I'm in Butch's corner. Time will tell for that too.

No...you are not. We may or may not agree on whether it is because of the fans or just because it's Bama, but I'm ok with that....because I just ******* hate Bama.

Guess it comes from growing up in middle TN. They're everywhere. But I hate the team and the head midget a hell of a lot, too.

Tennessee winning an SEC title? I highly, higly doubt it. I have seen nothing under the Butch Jones tenure that proves to me that UT can win the SEC. I mean we couldnt even beat SC and Vandy last year.

No offense to JG, but maybe he should just keep his mouth shut and prove it on the field.

Of course all the Alabama trash are going to take Jarrett Guarantano's comment and run with it, just wait until all the Georgia fans jump on board.

Honestly, i don't know how i feel about what he said, obviously we need a confident QB to take the offensive reins as quickly as possibly. From what we learned last year , with the bad team chemistry, Guarantano may be the guy to better the teams chemistry. Having a confident QB in the forefront of the media may be a good thing but it also may be a bad thing.

I have to ask you an honest question, what makes you think Butch can beat Saban? I am talking about some serious answers. Not just that you are a huge Vol fan and have faith in the team.

Bc we almost did! And he recognized the changes necessary to make that happen and he made them ! So let's see what happens
