If you've been passed over by two transfers who immediately look better than you do; iy's a sign to move on.

No loss for us and it will free up another scholarship. Kid never had a chance to see an SEC field except as a mid-major visitor. Adios amigo!

That’s the point. Him leaving now instead of after the season prevents us from getting an extra spot in the class.

I wish Harrison well. I think this is the double-edged sword to the transfer portal. Can’t say I blame the kid, as he has been through two coaching changes and really hasn’t had the chance. In my opinion, I am happy for him that the portal is an option. I don’t know if I would enjoy being third string my entire career either if I could transfer and get playing time. Obviously, it hurts Tennessee’s depth on a chart that needs players in a desperate way, but I look at it as a positive for him rather than a few we lost during the coaching change that appeared to quit on their teammates. Best of luck!

I wanted Bailey no secret. I think he’s going to lead a team to a really good record. I wish him well.

With that, what Hooker did against Ole Miss, the kid etched his name into one of the all times gutsiest UT performances. Bailey couldn’t have done enough to ever remove him from QB1.

Is it enter the portal or when they transfer. I would imagine HB along with the other 3 in the portal would do us the decency of waiting until December 15th to leave

Hooker: 22 TD 7 INTS 2,900 yards 12+ starts as a qb.. easy to see why a team would take him for experience alone. Milton was picked up because of his size and (perceived) potential, clearly didn't work out.

If HB was half as good as some of you believe he would've seen the field this year after Milton's tragic performance. He's not mobile, throws constant check downs, has average arm strength. He'll land at UAB/Memphis type school if that.

Harrison will be fine. It's clear Heupel wasn't going to give Bailey a chance to develop. Strange, because Heupels system never had a dual threat QB, but was always explosive.
As fans, at least Hooker is bailing us out after the Milton debacle, but I can imagine Bailey isn't feeling the love for Heupel.

Don’t even have to wait that long. Last regular season game is on Nov 27.
